For more than three decades, David Copello has collaborated with discerning clients to create one-of-a-kind environments for private residences, boutique hotels, restaurants, and commercial spaces. Every project reflects an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail.
Our work begins where conventional manufacturing ends. Rather than relying on standard materials and processes, we develop custom manufacturing techniques, engineer original material applications, and refine every detail by hand. This integration of design, engineering, and artisan craftsmanship allows us to create pieces that are both technically sophisticated and emotionally compelling.
As a fully integrated design-build studio, we guide each project from concept through fabrication and installation. Working closely with architects, interior designers, developers, and private clients, we foster a collaborative process that ensures every decision supports the project’s architectural vision while honoring the client’s unique aspirations.

David Copello is a second-generation machinist, designer, and artisan whose work bridges the disciplines of engineering, fine craftsmanship, and architectural design. His foundation was shaped through traditional apprenticeship under master furniture maker Hatakeyama of Yokohama, where he embraced the principles of precision, material mastery, and the enduring pursuit of excellence that define the world’s finest craftspeople.
Over more than three decades, David has cultivated a multidisciplinary practice spanning luxury lighting, bespoke furnishings, architectural elements, material innovation, and custom manufacturing. His uncommon ability to conceive, engineer, and fabricate original work allows him to solve complex design challenges while creating pieces of exceptional beauty, functionality, and permanence.
At the heart of David’s philosophy is the belief that extraordinary design begins with a profound understanding of materials and the processes that shape them. By combining artisan craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing techniques, he continually explores new methods of fabrication, develops original material applications, and challenges the conventional boundaries between art, architecture, and design.
